Matthew Handford

As Chief People Officer, Matthew (Matt) Handford leads all aspects of human capital strategy and talent management for Vantage Group. Additionally, he is responsible for the strategic leadership of Vantage’s corporate venture initiative, through which the company is partnering with innovators of emerging technologies that are transforming transportation infrastructure.

An experienced leader with a background in both private and public companies, Matt has pioneered people strategies at high growth, culture focused organizations, including in executive roles in several prominent global technology, online retail, and transportation brands. Matt has also served as a Board Director for Mountain Equipment Company and the Vancouver International Film Festival and is currently serving on the Dean’s Advisory Board at Queen’s University, Kingston.
