ANA Selects Terminal 6 as its Future Home at JFK International Airport
ANA will be among the first carriers to operate from the new state-of-the-art T6 when it opens to passengers in 2026
JFK Millennium Partners (JMP) and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have announced that ANA will be among the first airlines to operate from the new Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport when it opens in 2026. This terminal is key component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s $19 billion transformation project aimed at turning JFK Airport into a world-class gateway. The project includes the construction of new terminals, the expansion and modernization of existing ones, a new ground transportation center, and a simplified roadway network.
ANA passengers can look forward to a digital-first, boutique guest experience at Terminal 6. The terminal will feature a less than five-minute walk from the TSA security checkpoint to all gates, 100,000 square feet of NYC-inspired shopping, dining, lounges, and amenities, as well as curated public art and sustainable operating features. The overall experience promises to be premium and seamless.
ANA has been a long-term tenant at JFK Terminal 7, where we’ve seen firsthand their commitment to quality, operational safety, and exceptional passenger care since our JMP team took over the management of Terminal 7 two years ago. We look forward to elevating the ANA guest experience even further as we write the next chapter of our partnership together at JFK Terminal 6.
Katsuya Goto, ANA’s Executive Vice President, expressed confidence that customers will be highly satisfied with the new terminal. Toshio Nomura, ANA’s Executive Vice President for The Americas, highlighted the importance of New York to ANA and the honor of welcoming customers to Terminal 6 with their latest 777-300ER product.
ANA has been operating two daily nonstop flights from JFK Terminal 7 to Tokyo (Haneda) for over 30 years. The airline will join other Star Alliance partners, such as Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, and Brussels Airlines, at Terminal 6.
