Sammy Patel

As Vantage Group’s Vice President, Commercial, Sammy is responsible for the company’s commercial operations and strategy across its global network. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Midway Partnership, the company responsible for the commercial redevelopment of Chicago Midway International Airport. Since joining Vantage in 2011, Sammy has provided global functional support at locations across the network and spearheaded the company’s approach to setting new commercial standards in the US, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean, helping shape the industry as a whole.

Sammy brings deep expertise in reimagining airport and rail environments to enhance the passenger experience while delivering sustainable value for both public and private stakeholders. He has led commercial transformations for transportation projects across North America and the Caribbean, including the $4.2 billion Terminal 6 development at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the award-winning LaGuardia Terminal B in New York, Philadelphia’s William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, and a redesigned guest journey at Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Elsewhere, Sammy’s strategic leadership and executive sponsorship have also delivered award-winning commercial transformations at US airports, including Chicago Midway International Airport and Kansas City International Airport, winner of the 2024 Airport Experience Award for Best New Commercial Program. Before moving to North America, Sammy held management roles at airports and airlines in the United Kingdom, including London Heathrow, Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon airports.
