As Vantage Group’s Vice President, Commercial, Sammy is responsible for the company’s commercial operations and strategy to across the global network. Since joining Vantage in 2011, Sammy has been providing global functional support at locations across the network and spearheaded Vantage’s approach in setting new standards at Vantage’s commercial programs in the US, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and the industry as a whole.
Most recently, he led both the successful commercial transition at New York’s LaGuardia Terminal B and planning efforts for the new Terminal 6 at JFK International Airport. Elsewhere, Sammy’s strategic leadership and executive sponsorship has helped deliver several award-winning commercial transformations at US airports, including Chicago Midway International Airport and Kansas City International Airport, recent winner of the Airport Experience award for Best New Commercial Program in 2024. Before moving to North America, Sammy held management roles at airports and airlines in the United Kingdom, including Liverpool John Lennon, London Heathrow, and Manchester airports.
