As Vice President, Corporate Finance & Strategy, Peter Tong is responsible for the financial management of Vantage Group’s corporate and network locations, including financial planning and analysis, financial performance, and long-term valuation.
Peter brings more than 20 years of aviation industry experience to his role, in which he also leads Vantage’s strategic planning and corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, to position the company for continued growth.
Peter joined Vantage in 2018 following a 15-year career at WestJet, where he held various senior leadership positions. Peter was instrumental in WestJet’s growth and evolution, overseeing strategic initiatives such as aircraft acquisitions, including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the launch of WestJet’s ultra-low-cost airline carrier, Swoop, and the expansion of the airline’s flight network across North America and the Caribbean.
