New Fixed-Base Operator Facility Breaks Ground at Hamilton International Airport
Biddle Carson Developments has begun construction on a new multi-use Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) facility at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. This 100,000 square foot facility, located at the airport’s northeast end, will feature three state-of-the-art hangars with premium services, including a lounge, conference room, and observation deck. The facility will have access to the airfield via the new Taxiway Foxtrot and road access through Aviation Drive.
Two tenants, FlyXcite and Aerofina Aviation, have already secured space in the hangars, with the remaining space expected to be available within two years. The first phase of construction is set to be completed by late 2025.
This development is the second project in the Northeast Airport Development area since it opened in 2023, highlighting Hamilton International’s role in driving investment and business growth in the region. The new FBO is expected to boost local operations and the economy by creating skilled jobs, attracting aviation-related businesses, and increasing tourism.
