Stewart Steeves

As Chief Operating Officer of Vantage Group, Stewart Steeves oversees the planning, development, and management of Vantage’s network of airports and related operations, and helps shape the company’s growth strategy.

Stewart’s career spans engineering, finance, and aviation. A Professional Engineer, CFA charter holder, and licensed pilot, he managed construction projects for Turner Construction in Chicago and held corporate finance roles at Vancouver Airport Authority and HSBC in Vancouver before joining Vantage in 2003. Since then, he has overseen nearly $10 billion in airport redevelopment projects across North America and the Caribbean.

Across several executive roles at Vantage, Stewart has led some of the network’s most complex projects from start to finish. As CEO of LaGuardia Gateway Partners, he guided the $5.1 billion Terminal B redevelopment from a multi-year competitive procurement and financing through complex construction and into operations. As CEO of Nassau Airport Development Company, he led the $410 million redevelopment of Lynden Pindling International Airport in The Bahamas, the largest infrastructure project in Bahamian history. He has also served as Vantage’s Chief Financial Officer and CEO of Tradeport International Corporation, the Vantage-led company that manages John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport.

Today, Stewart serves on the board of JFK Millennium Partners, the Vantage-led company developing the new JFK Terminal 6, and is Chair of the boards of both LaGuardia Gateway Partners and Tradeport International Corporation.
