Vantage Airport Group Welcomes Eileen Hanson as Vice President, Marketing
Vantage Airport Group announced that Eileen Hanson has joined its corporate leadership team as Vice President, Marketing.
In this newly created role, Ms. Hanson will lead comprehensive, multi-year marketing and brand strategies to support Vantage’s corporate growth goals, including the $4.2 billion development of Terminal 6 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, now underway.
“Eileen’s track record of leading diverse, complex teams focused on collaboration will serve Vantage well as she develops and integrates marketing activities across various disciplines of our business,” said George Casey, Chair and CEO, Vantage Airport Group. “We are delighted to welcome Eileen to this exciting and important role. Her significant leadership experience in marketing and brand strategy will help position our business for continued success.”
Reporting to George Casey, Ms. Hanson will be responsible for collaborating with the executive team to position the organization for continued growth and success by developing and implementing strategic and cohesive marketing initiatives that will enhance and grow the organization’s reputation in investment, development, and management of world-class airports and transportation infrastructure in North America and beyond.
“I am proud to join the team at Vantage as the organization continues to deliver award-winning airport infrastructure projects,” said Ms. Hanson. “I look forward to working with the team to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies that showcase the impact Vantage is making in the communities we serve today, and demonstrate our capabilities to deliver world-class airports and infrastructure to prospective partners.”
Ms. Hanson brings industry leading experience in marketing, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Commercial Strategy at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), responsible for corporate and field marketing to drive market share and revenue growth across URW’s airport portfolio. Her accomplishments include managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets across digital and traditional channels, and successful project campaigns for numerous URW airport and retail destinations, including LAX Terminals 1, 2, 3, 6 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal, Westfield World Trade Center, and Chicago O’Hare’s Terminal 5.
Hanson’s prior corporate marketing and communications experience includes leadership roles at customer-focused organizations such as DIRECTV and Hilton Worldwide. She is well positioned to evolve and accelerate the Vantage brand, and build relationships with key audiences, from trade organizations and investors to project stakeholders and community leaders, through a cohesive marketing strategy.
Hanson joins Vantage as the organization kicks of the first phase of its $4.2 billion, five-year development of a new international terminal anchoring the north side of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and prepares for numerous other project and operational milestones expected across the Vantage network in 2023 and beyond.
Hanson received her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She serves on the Board of L.A. Works, an organization that creates and leads programming to address critical issues in Los Angeles by mobilizing targeted volunteer communities.
