Details: The design for
the Fresno Builder's Exchange web site and logo concept initially
began as a broad stroke. The first step was to design a company
logo that would help FBE achieve a consistent public image
in the local construction industry. Along with the help of
FBE's Executive Director, our designers began researching
the other builder's exchanges within California and gathering
information to help create the company logo. FBE wanted a
unique logo that had a construction feel to it and had to
be easily recognizable by locals. Vantage designers created
a handful
of
logo concepts
originally
stemming
from
the existing City of Fresno logo, then took a different
approach by creating a separate concept based off a local
architectural landmark built in 1894, the Old Fresno Water
Tower.

All dynamic aspects of the FBE web site are driven by an
internal database application and uploaded to the web server
on a daily frequency. The Members Area securely provides
access to the information via a series of pages coupled with
extensive search functionality. The entire data-driven portion
of the site is automated and maintained
by FBE's staff.
